Our generation is concerned about the environmental crisis and I believe that a look into the past can help us secure our future and the future of generations to come. I am writing this letter to you, the leader of our country, because I want to emphasize that history has shown how the leaders of societies handle important environmental issues can be the deciding factor between a thriving nation and a dying one.
